A couple of updates on my fediverse app testing.

Big thanks to the person who clued me into being the actively maintained Pinafore fork. It's now my main web app, and I recently noticed that post editing has been added 🥳

I occasionally use on my laptop, running Fedora GNU/Linux with Mate, installed from repos. It has potential, but it's a bit limited. Turning off notifications doesn't seem to work on Fedora any better than it did on Trisquel.

Been using Moshidon for a while now. I'm enjoying it enough that it's taken over from FediLab as my main mobile app. It's a relief not have to hack around the weird compose errors on FL anymore.

Side note: my Android is really showing its age. I need to finish figuring out how to get an up-to-date OS onto my PinePhone so I can transfer a bunch of my mobile usage to that. Then I can look into whether its possible to get a custom ROM onto the Android device.

@strypey Moshidon is so freaking good! It’s one of the few Android Fedi clients capable of showing emoji reactions and Bubbles from Akkoma!

It's great isn't it? Something about the visual design is a bit .... gentler on the eyes than FediLab too. Much as I've appreciated FL for the last few years, the design is showing its age.

I hadn't noticed but I'll keep an eye out. I do have a couple of grizzles (eg it can't render quote boosts yet) but they're pretty minor.
