RNZ · New Zealand and the 'psychedelic renaissance'The latest set of results from the 2024 New Zealand Drugs Trends Survey has shed light on the non-medical use of pharmaceuticals in New Zealand. 

There have been 1000s of years of indigenous research on the mental and emotional health benefits of entheogens, and protocols for safe and effective use. Multidisciplinary academic research has been investigating them for nearly a century, within the limits of knee-jerk colonial prohibitions against their use.

There is far more evidence for the safety and efficacy of entheogens than any contemporary pharmaceutical used for mental health conditions. Just let us use them already!
