Mastodon? About 6-7 years ago, I think? Before that I was on a GNU social server for a few years.

Fun fact: the original Mastodon.social was set up to federate over the OStatus protocol with GNU social (and Pleroma, Friendica, Hubzilla, and a defunct project called postActiv);
