@strypey That's a well-coined term for something I was also thinking about. The "easy mode" with sensible defaults and the "power-user mode" for people who want to re-use the core functions in their own ways. For me, the small, compose-able *nix style apps have checked this box but the GUI world hasn't particularly embraced this. I don't think a GUI is, necessarily, antithetical to the idea but it's not common practice.
