Amazed that #Purism have yet to take #Plume, rebrand it as "PureBlog One" without talking to the devs, remove the credits and start charging for it as a service...

Actually, I should shut up before @purism takes *this* idea, rebrands it, charges for it and calls it their own...

It's totally routine for businesses to deploy Wordpress or Drupal without giving any prominent credit to those projects. GNU/Linux distributions include hundreds of pieces of other people's software in their branded product, nobody bats an eyelid. It's totally normal for web apps like Mastodon to include upstream components without users being any the wiser. What is it about @purism that makes some people so keen to bash them for doing the same?
