Anyone else out there liked the original Avatar: The Last Airbender, but not seen ? I was pretty underwhelmed with the first season, so it took me a while to watch any more, but I really enjoyed season 2, and so far I'm finding season 3 pretty page-turning (so to speak ;)

The first season could have been so much better but Korra is a fascist

@strypey I adore both shows and my boyfriend does as well, so if you're ever interested in chattering... :blobcatfingerguns:

@AnimusReach cool! Do you agree that Korra gets significantly better after the first season, or do you think I'm being too harsh on it?

@strypey I believe all the seasons had their merits, personally, and the first is just as great as the others to me. But of course, what with plot, things pick up in terms of that as the show goes on.

@AnimusReach fair enough :) I guess I just felt that the first season lacked ... heart. The characters all performed their plot-allocated functions, but it all felt a bit mechanical. The serious bits were a bit too serious and the comic relief were so clowny it took me right out of the story. All-in-all a bit of -prequelitis ;)
