Finally got around to installing . I like the way it displays the GUI in the default browser, like , rather than using . The SyncThing GUI isn't super-intuitive, but I'm finding my way through it without losing too much hair. I've got a couple of folders syncing between my two GNU/Linux laptops.

But trying to figure out how to use to connect with and share a folder with a friend on Windows is a nightmare. Everything about the Windows install and set up seems to be different and I don't have a Windows box here I can use to figure it out, so I can walk them through it.
