#ShowerThought I wonder if non-geek users think geeks can prevent trolling by technical means, but choose not to because #FreeSpeech, or because we think putting up with trolls thickens the skin, or "puts hairs on your chest", or builds character, or something? #PublicServiceAnnouncement trolling is a *social* problem, and beyond a few very limited means (eg moderation tools) can't be stopped by technical means. At least not without a buttload of false positives, and massive headaches. No thanks
