Anyone out there have any inkling of what a university spends on IT services (infrastructure + licenses, not including staff time) per student per year? Even a ball park figure from someone with relevant experience would be welcome.


We have a new model, primed for the post-COVID-19 era, for which we have evidence might revolutionise the economic picture for higher education (assuming my suspicions about current costs are reasonable).

@s0 @lightweight I was in the academic section. I had friends in IT but licensing costs never came up in discussions.
