Programming is a bit like poetry and songwriting... poets and songwriters can't not write poetry and songs... and programmers are similarly compelled to code. It can be a beautiful thing. But like poetry and songs, it can also be unappealing and self-indulgent :) - but at least can be re-imagined, remixed, repurposed, and redeemed...

@popolon I've got more than a few attempts at poetry... but only a few of them are in version control...

@popolon but sounds like an interesting idea. I suspect that most poets workflows would be improved by learning git.
