@aurynn Hmm that reminds me I have 15 pages of suspended accounts (vs 7 pages of accounts that are a mix of active users and probably spam signups that haven't done anything bad yet).

@mwlucas the forbes article is totally confused. They have mixed up the claim that that amount of moss can absorb same pollution from the air, (i.e. particulates) as 275 trees, to a claim that it absorbs the same CO₂ as the grove of 275 trees. If it was true, that seat thing would weigh at least 100 tons more after a year. About 10 tons per cubic metre by the looks of it, roughly the density of lead. LOL.

@mwlucas I call bullshit on "Each CityTree removes 240 metric tons of CO2 from the atmosphere per year". That is about 670kg per day

@cadadr probably totally over the top for what you want, but consider

@aurynn @madrush

I'm responding to the ? at the end of your sentence about needing a tech...

Putting ends on a cat5e is (can be) a pretty simple manual process if you use something like or

First one doesn't need any special tool. Second one shows the $7 tool that you'd need. The connectors have colour keys that show which wire goes where.

Wow, these horrible “rules” regarding “Personal Game” development Amazon employees have to agree to before taking employment are so cartoonishly villainous they actually made me laugh out loud.

Breaking news in drug legalization - bread in New Zealand is now going to have Frolic Acid (i.e. LSD) added to it!

I've been working on something similar to address the alleged 'skills shortage' NZ Govt and businesses continue to moan about...

Always looking for feedback to refine it.

@daniel_bohrer Traditionally with lemon juice and sugar, otherwise with fruit and yoghurt. Both are rolled (the pancake is quite thin, close to a crêpe). Pancakes are made an eaten one at a time.

If you don't like #Microsoft, please get your code off #GitHub. It's just Microsoft wearing a mask at this point.

#SourceHut, @codeberg, and are all viable alternatives depending on your priorities.

@cwebber I predict they'll be able to get the violation rate down to well below that of the average developer adapting examples from stack overflow.

Which will make this a successful machine for laundering the GPL right out of code. With rent collection built right into it because it's going to be a paid service.

Anyway if you do have some access to mobile data but not a lot, try for a low resources stop timetable

hey if you’re all like “I’m a kiwi, I’d love to have an account on that cool Cloud Island place” but you’re also like, not able to afford it

hit me up, I’m generally happy to sponsor accounts

or if you know someone who’d benefit from or like to be here, again, hmu (or have them hmu)

"A senior ExxonMobil lobbyist has been captured on camera revealing how the oil giant is using its power and influence to water down US climate legislation."

The story that revealed just that:

While many of you use #Github or any other #microsoft product/service, remember that Microsoft partners with Exxon Mobile:

"ExxonMobil is optimising oil and gas operations with Microsoft

XTO Energy subsidiary is using technologies like Dynamics, Azure and machine learning to improve capital efficiency and support Permian production growth'
